AN ELECTRONIC SOLUTION FOR DRAFTING
RaceRanger takes away the guess-work around the drafting distance for athletes and referees.
A rider is shown a light indication on the rear of the bike in front which changes colour as the distance between them changes.
ORANGE (SOLID) = FIRST WARNING 22 - 25m for a 20m Zone
BLUE (SOLID) = LAST WARNING 20 - 22m for a 20m Zone
RED (FLASHING) = DRAFTING Within 20m for a 20m Zone
"I was so excited when I first heard about RaceRanger. I love to race non-drafting races but unfortunately it doesn’t always feel like the fair race it should be. RaceRanger has the potential to change that giving us clear guidelines and visual signage to the actual situation. I love it! "

“We could have really used this back in the 80’s and early 90’s, when some of the big races turned into absolute draft fests. I swam and rode my ass off at the world champs twice! only to be swallowed up by massive packs at 35K. I could hear the whizzing freewheels of the guys in the pack coming up behind me. That was it for me.”
